Board Members

• Judy True, Ms.Ed, is a parent advocate who recently retired from her career as a special education administrator on the East Coast. In addition to that role, she also taught at the University of Southern Maine in the teacher preparation program and co-developed an administrator re-certification master class. • Alissa Scanlin, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Lafayette . She is also a Learning Disabilities Specialist at Contra Costa Community College where she teaches remedial classes in reading comprehension and written expression to students with a variety of disabilities and does assessments to determine students' strengths and weakness and to identify the accommodations appropriate to their individual needs. • Shoshana Taubman, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist with the Department of Child and Family Psychiatry at Kaiser Union City. She provides a variety of services including individual, family, and group therapy as well as parenting classes and ADHD evaluations. She also performs Regional Center eligibility evaluations with Child Solutions in San Leandro. Shoshana serves the board as Treasurer. Contact information: shoshana@nclda.org
