Board Members

• Shoshana Taubman, Psy.D is the president of East Bay LDA. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Alliant International University. She is currently completing her post-doctoral internship at Children's Hospital, Oakland where she provides psychodiagnostic testing and outpatient psychotherapy services to children and their families. • Nina Ghiselli, Psy.D.,is the director and coordinator of disability services at Alliant International University and a psychologist in private practice. She also teaches courses at U.C. Berkeley Extension School of Education, and consults with schools and agencies about how to make their programs more accessible for people with disabilities. Nina is the Vice President of East Bay Learning Disabilities Association and Chair of Adult Issues. Contact information: nina@eastbaylda.org
• Rosario Cisneros is the Secretary of the Board and Publications Chair. As a member of the EastBayLDA, it is her goal to reach the Hispanic community and be a source of information and help for individuals with learning disabilities issues. Contact information: rosario@eastbaylda.org
• Alissa Scanlin, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Lafayette . She is also a Learning Disabilities Specialist at Contra Costa Community College where she teaches remedial classes in reading comprehension and written expression to students with a variety of disabilities and does assessments to determine students' strengths and weakness and to identify the accommodations appropriate to their individual needs. • Judi Taubman, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker, recently retired from her position on the crisis team in the Mental Health Department at Kaiser Walnut Creek. She has provided services to adults and children whose lives are impacted by either their own difficulties with learning and attentional disabilities or those of close family members.
